Designed in partnership with Lewis Machine & Tool Company, the patent-pending Monolithic Rail Platform, or MRP, is the most radical variation of an integrated rail system ever conceived. The MRP’ s unique design removes 13 parts from traditional designs, significantly reducing the potential for failure. This one-piece receiver/free-floating handguard/rail system is precision machined from a solid aluminum forging for absolute strength and consistency.
The MRP completely replaces the upper receiver and provides an unprecedented level of versatility to the operator. In addition, it boasts sling swivel adapter locators—2 aft and 3 up front. The MRP begins as a rock-solid forging for unmatched strength and durability. Each rail is precision machined to expertly accommodate the latest white light, infrared, laser and thermal imaging system devices used by military, spec-ops, law enforcement and SWAT teams. Finally, it has a rugged finish to ensure longevity and performance.
The MRP is available in rifle (MRP) and carbine (CQB) configurations. Various barrel lengths and types are available. The MRP can accommodate 14.5" , 16" , 18" and 20" barrels.
- Barrels made from Mil-S-11595 Chromium-Molybdenum-Vanadium with threaded muzzle and flash suppressor—barrels are high pressure tested and magnetic particle inspected, with certification, prior to final assembly
- Barrels with 1:7 rifling and chambered to 7.62mm NATO specifications with hard chrome bore and chamber for long life and easy cleaning

- Bolt is shot peened, high pressure tested and magnetic particle inspected, with certification

- Barrel is easily removable for field replacement or mission adjustment; with the supplied torque wrench, driver, proper bolt group and mag (when applicable), an operator can customize his rifle for the mission at hand without armorer or gunsmith assistance
- Patented MRP upper receiver with a top rail surface of 489mm (19.25 in) of continuous Mil-Std 1913 rail
- Free-floating barrel affords no loss of zero from rough handling and reduces temperature to handguard and optics
