Saco Defense (General Dynamics) licenses US Ordnance, Reno, Nevada to be the exclusive manufacturer and sole distributor for all models of the battle proven M60 lightweight machine gun.

RENO, Nv. - US Ordnance is now licensed by Saco defense to be the exclusive manufacturer and sole distributor for all models of the battle proven M60 Series machine gun and spare parts. Under the terms of this licensing agreement, US Ordnance is now the only manufacture for the M60 Series machine gun that has access to the process, procedures, U.S. government approved tooling, fixtures and functional gauges necessary to manufacture the M60 machine gun to United States Mil-Spec standards.

All US Ordnance products are developed and tested to NATO specifications. Each US Ordnance machine gun undergoes proof firing, function testing, and accuracy testing before it leaves the factory. Highest quality standards ensure full interchangeability of parts between all U.S. M60 Machine guns.

Complete weapons systems in the M60D, M60E3 and M60E4 configurations are in stock and available for US Government, Foreign Government and law enforcement sales. A US Ordnance conversion kit is also available to convert your standard M60 to the new, lighter E3 or E4 versions. US Ordnance conversion kits reduce gun weight by 20% and represent dramatic improvements in reliability and performance over the standard M60 configuration.

Logistics support is readily available from U.S. Ordnance, and they will assist the user in developing an in-country logistics capability to support the M60 Machine Gun. Ongoing production for the U.S. Government assures availability of spare parts.

U.S. Ordnance, Inc. headquartered in Reno, Nevada has been manufacturing M60 parts since 1984. US Ordnance delivers firearms that are extensively tested and battlefield proven. US Ordnance accomplishes this mission through the use of "good manufacturing" processes, environmental testing of their products, US Government monitoring, and responsible sales ethics.

General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia, employs approximately 54,000 people worldwide and anticipates 2002 revenues of approximately $14 billion.
