The M60E4 Conversion Kit can be used to modify any serviceable M60 receiver. Kit installation can be completed at U.S. ORDNANCE or at the customer facility after training of technical personnel by U.S. ORDNANCE. The installation of this kit on any new M60 Machine Gun brings with it a new gun warranty and features that eliminate weight and increase reliability.

Optional Barrels: Heavy Weight, for sustained fire or Light Weight, short length for assault and maneuver. Adjustable front sight on lightweight barrels, optional peep rear sight. Compact gas system eliminates cylinder plug, fail-safe piston assembly. Carrying handle facilitates hot barrel change without use of mitten. Adjustable bipod attached to receiver for ease of barrel change. Forward pistol grip replaces forearm assembly for better controllability and accuracy. Optional new flat spring on trigger housing assembly prevents accidental detachment of the assembly. Reversible cover latch and adjustable sling swivel for right or left hand use. Glass reinforced plastic pistol grip and butt stock. Hinged shoulder rest for improved control. 2 sear notches minimize possibility of a runaway gun. Longer wear operating rod roller, pin and yoke. Plastic retaining cap on barrel latch prevents user injury. Major assemblies interchangeable with M60 Machine Gun.
